Located in Hetta, Enontekiö, Hetan Kota
is a hiking and camp centre with accommodation for up to 45 people. They offer excellent possibilities for outdoor activities in the beautiful surrounding nature for all seasons.
Accommodation consists of rooms for 1- 4 persons, spread out in multiple cottages across the property. There are two cottages in the yard with four rooms for two, with cooking facilities and a sauna. Additionally, there are three cottages for 2 persons, each with a dehydration toilet and a kitchen corner also located in the yard. Showers and a sauna can be found in a separate building, and there is also a grill hut for 40 persons in the yard. Their festival hall offers dining and conference facilities for 45 people.
Hetan Kota is located near the north end of the famous Hetta-Pallas fell hiking trail in the Pallas-Ounas National Park, and there are several great open wilderness huts and reservable huts along the trail for hikers to use. In the winter, visitors can use the machine-groomed cross-country skiing trails of various lengths starting from the Hetan Kota property. In the summer, fishing is possible in nearby Lake Ounasjärvi and Ounasjoki River.
Hetan Kota is only a short distance from the main shops in Hetta, as well as the Fell Lapland Nature Centre and local downhill skiing centre.
